Guest rooms were designed with a residential, turn-of-the-century motif. They evoke a feeling of warmth and romance with their handsome mixture of mahogany furniture, teak parquet floors, hand-loomed Tibetan area rugs, grass cloth wall coverings, and a blend of rich fabrics. There are children's programs, a fitness center with a sauna, a Jacuzzi, a steam room, massages and an abundace of water activities along the secluded golden sand beach.

Kahala Mandarin Oriental is fronted by 800 feet of sandy beach. Enjoy relaxing with complimentary beach chairs and towers, along with cold towel and cool mist services which are also provided for your comfort. Private covered beach lounges are available for a nominal fee. Kayaks, rafts, paddle boats, sailboards and snorkeling are just a few of the ocean sports available to you. The hotel's 26,000 sq. ft. natural lagoon is home to three male Atlantic bottlenose dolphins called Keola, Kamali'i and Maka. An educational and feeding program takes place daily at 11.00am, 2.00pm and 4.00pm. In addition, you'll find tropical fish, green sea turtles, exotic gardens and a waterfall. In addition to our dolphin educational and feeding program, the hotel also offers a Dolphin Interaction Program. Designed to heighten awareness and appreciation of these beautiful and intelligent mammals, the program includes a face to face encounter with one of the dolphins as well as a short educational program.
