Driver must have a valid drivers license and a major credit card.
Minimum age of driver: 25 years. Alamo's underage surcharge for drivers 21-24 year of age is $20.00 per day.
Cash deposit accepted with restrictions including minimum $25.00 per day cash deposit plus the estimated cost of incidentals required. Additional requirements are: home phone verifiable through directory assistance in driver's name, proof of employment, return airline ticket, and car voucher for your InterIsland Package. No cash deposit for luxury cars, mini-vans, and jeeps.
Drop off charges are paid directly to Alamo upon the completion of your rental, and are as follows:
Additional Charges apply to the following: Overtime, Gas, Protection Coverage, Upgrades, Child Restraint Seat ($4.99 per day with $50 deposit), Additional Driver ($3.99 per day).
State of Hawaii Taxes and Fees are not included in our rates, and are as follows: a state highway surcharge of $3.00 per day, plus an airport concession fee of 7.5% (applicable for Alamo on all cars except those rented at Honolulu airport), plus a registration tax of up to 36 cents per day (weight dependent), plus the state's general excise tax of 4%.
Frequent flyer mileage cannot be earned.

Minimum rental is 1 day. Minimum age is 21. There may be an additional surcharge for drivers under 25.

Theses rates do not include fuel service charge, government surcharges, local taxes, airport-related fees, vehicle licensing fees, optional LDW, PAI, PEP, ALI or Prepaid Gas Option.
A cash deposit or an Avis-honored credit card will be required at checkout for charges not included in the prepaid voucher.

Additional requirements are: date on return airline ticket must match return date of the car, a local contact (hotel or address of friend/relative), and car voucher for your InterIsland Package. No cash deposit for same island residents.

Current hours are as follows: Honolulu Airport, 5:15A-1:00A; Waikiki: 7A-6P; Maui Airport: 5:45A-11:30P; Kauai Airport: 5:45A-10P; Kona Airport: 5:45A-10P; Hilo Airport: 5:45A-8:30P. Hours are subject to change by Thrifty at any time.
