Your downhill biking and hiking adventure will begin discovering the hidden hiking treasures of Oahu’s lush volcanic rainforest. This moderate 2-mile round-trip guided hike is a rare opportunity to explore 75-acres of sacred land that is exclusive only to the guests of our company. Experience the majestic beauty of our towering 200-foot private waterfall, cross through tranquil streams, picturesque pools and view ancient lo`i (rock terraces) and lush tropical vegetation of Hawaii’s paradise.

With average year-round temperatures of 80 degree (cooler in the rainforest), refreshing trade winds and two volcanic mountain ranges on this Hawaiian island, Oahu is a hiker’s paradise. Given the popularity of hiking, and since most all other hiking companies feature public trails and multiple groups, the secluded personality of the rainforest is often compromised. As a locally owned and operated company with a particular passion for the unique Oahu volcanic rainforest , we take great pride in knowing our guests are experiencing something uniquely our own and will not be overcrowded by other tour companies and the general public. Our exclusive rainforest adventure is more than a hike; it is a journey to the secluded and lush 75-acres of private Manoa Valley rainforest.

After the waterfall hike, you’ll experience another specialty of Bike Hawaii on our most sought after bike tour. This easy 5-mile tropical ride coasts downhill on a paved road nestled in the lush Puu Ohia rainforest. This unique experience combines Hawaii’s tropical rainforest, magnificent panoramic views of scenic Oahu, the fragrance of tropical fruits and flowers with Hawaiian culture, history, native species of bird and animals and its unique geological features.

Also included in your adventure is a complimentary scenic deli-style lunch and beverage set in the tropical outdoors.

What To Know

Time: 9:00 am - 3:00 pm (6 hours)
(We strongly recommend that you do not book other tours back-to-back which require you to be strictly on-time in your return from our tours. Weather, traffic and other factors can sometimes delay our return times. This goes for all tour companies and we wouldn’t want you to possibly miss your luau or other activity.)

Operates: Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday

Includes: Professional nature guides, access to private land, rain gear, hip pack, mosquito repellant, bottled water, trail snacks, KHS cruiser bikes, Bell helmets, and complimentary round-trip transportation from Kahala, Waikiki & Aloha Tower. Minimum 4.0' to ride bike or 3.5' and max 85lbs. for trailer.

What to Bring: Dress comfortably, wear shoes and socks and bring a camera.

We advise that you only bring what you will need during your adventure with us. A camera or smartphone is ideal to capture images of your day out with us. If not waterproof, it is a good idea to at least have a plastic trash bag from hotel room to protect your camera in case of rain. Please leave purses, computers, credit cards, passports, etc in a safe at your hotel. We are not responsible for damaged, lost or stolen personal belongings while on tour with us.

Restrictions: BIKE TOURS: Maximum weight for bike tour is 250 pounds (114 kilos) and kids tag-a-long trailer 85 pounds (38 kilos). For your safety and well being of others, all riders must know how to ride a bike to participate in our bike tours. We conduct a safety briefing and test ride before each tour. If you are unable to demonstrate ability to safely ride, you will be asked to ride in the van or stay back and wait until tour is finished. No refund will be offered.
