Terms and Conditions
ADDITIONAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS SPECIFIC TO THRIFTY RENT A CAR

These terms are subject to change at Thrifty's discretion.
Driver must have a valid drivers license and a major credit card.
Minimum age of driver: 21 years. Underage surcharge for drivers 21-24 year of age is $15.00 per day.
If you pick up your car in one location and drop it at another, drop-off charges will apply. Drop off charges are paid directly to Thrifty upon the completion of your rental, and are as follows:

Oahu: From Honolulu Airport to Waikiki: $30.00
Oahu: From Waikiki to Honolulu Airport: $30.00
Big Island: From Hilo to Kona: $50.00
Big Island: From Kona to Hilo: $50.00

Vehicles returned outside of Thrifty's normal hours will be charged a $20 night drop fee. Current hours are as follows: Honolulu Airport, 5:15A-1:00A; Waikiki: 7A-6P; Maui Airport: 5:45A-11:30P; Kauai Airport: 5:45A-10P; Kona Airport: 5:45A-10P; Hilo Airport: 5:45A-8:30P. Hours are subject to change by Thrifty at any time.

Additional Charges apply to the following: Overtime, Gas, Protection Coverage, Upgrades, Infant Seat ($5.00 per day), Additional Driver ($5.00 per day).
State of Hawaii General Excise Tax of 4% is INCLUDED in our rates.
Other State of Hawaii Fees & Surcharges are NOT included in our rates, and are as follows: a state highway surcharge of $3.00 per day, plus an airport concession fee of 7.5%, plus a registration tax of up to 36 cents per day (weight dependent).
Frequent flyer mileage cannot be earned.
Sorry, no refunds on unused car rental days.
